  1. Hi Everyone! I hope you enjoyed this video on how to create a color palette for your home. What inspires your color palette selections? I would love to know. Have a beautiful day and I hope you’re having a great Labor Day weekend here in the US! ❤Liz

  2. Ugh! So does that mean that if my sofa is an oatmeal color and I have 2 brown leather swivel chairs in my south-facing living room, I should go with a wheat-toned wall color? I was hoping to have very light, white walls. The floor is a hickory installed in 2003 (not my choice; we just purchased the house — a farmhouse on 10 acres with a barn!)

  3. Hi! Very informative! I’m trying to select new flooring throughout my home and want it all to be cohesive. I do not want to rip up some areas where our existing wood is still in good shape, so I’m trying to get creative with adding new flooring in the areas that are needed, without wasting money and material that is still usable in our home, but still trying to make it all come together. Our home is 20 years old and the only updates we’ve had was 10 years ago, we got new carpet in many rooms, still have original wood in the rest of the rooms. And some tile and vinyl in bathrooms. My laundry is the room with the newest floors, that’s because we had a leak 3 years ago and so I chose a nice black and white sort of tribal looking tile. I love it. I love that earthy look as an accent in our home, but I also love light blue, navy blue, white, and warm vivid tan and very very light grey that is warm in nature. Those are the colors I’m considering. I also like the effect to be more of a casual feel and more of a practical sense but still a creative style that appears more fun and adventurous and energizing than the average homeowner’s spaces. In considering what I’ve learned from your video… I’d say that the 60% 2 main colors are vivid warm tan (wood floors and some walls) and light blue (some walls). the 30% 1-3 non contrasting colors would probably be the light grey, white and navy. for the 10% accent group, I’d say black and vivid grass green for accents. If you happen to see this, could you let me know what you think? Thanks!
