  1. If you’re looking for ways to update your dated home without doing a full remodel, I hope this gives you some DIY ideas that will make a huge impact for less!! What would you love to update in your home??

  2. At least many of these ideas don’t cost the kind of money that modern-day contractors who have horrible design skills. Unfortunately, I can’t see how they could help my house since it’s vintage aspect is it’s greatest charm. It would be like dressing an aging actress in a miniskirt.

  3. I am with you on fluorescent lights but not ceiling fans. Ceiling fans have a practical purpose. Of course you can get a more modern version but why miss out on air movement just to look less dated.
